Plan for a visit, when should I arrive, what are my options for childcare, where should I park, what should I wear, where should I go, what happens in our meetings, safety measures in Covid-19. PLAN FOR A VISIT When should I arrive? Our Sunday meeting is from 09:00 to 10:30, we invite you to enjoy a cup of tea or coffee with us after the meeting, with our homemade rusks. Where should I park? The parking in front of the thatch building is reserved for the disabled, families with small children and the elderly. Other than that, there is plenty of parking onsite. Where should I go? Our meetings are held at 145 Glover Avenue, Centurion (click here for map ). Church meetings are in the thatch building and kids meet in the Cafe next door. Our coffee times happen in the Courtyard between the two buildings. Every Sunday morning, volunteers will be standing by to help guide you. What happens in our meetings? Every Sunday, we sing songs together, we pray both privately and together, we hear the Bible preached. We regularly break bread together. What are my options for childcare? We are passionate about communicating the life of Jesus in age-appropriate ways. Thus, we provide All Star Kids for children age 3 years through to Grade 7 during our Sunday meeting. If you have a child with special needs, please email our All Star Kids Leader and let us know how we can serve you! What should I wear? Our Sunday meetings are casual and welcoming. We're a church for people from all walks of life. Please wear whatever is most comfortable for you.

We offer safe and confidential Christian counselling to anyone in need, both within the church as well as in the broader community. ​Our Christian counsellors are volunteers trained in Christian counselling [they are not psychologists]. For this reason, they cannot counsel within the scope of any mental health diagnoses/addictions/major depression/legal issues. WE LOVE TO SERVE OUR COMMUNITY! One of the ways we do this is by offering counselling and other community services. We offer safe and confidential Christian counselling to anyone in need, both within the church as well as in the broader community. OUR COUNSELLORS Our Christian counsellors are volunteers trained in Christian counselling [they are not psychologists] . For this reason, they cannot counsel within the scope of any mental health diagnoses/addictions/major depression/legal issues. Our counsellors work within their skills to assist you to work through any life issues you may be facing. If they feel you need further assistance, they will recommend a referral. HOW WE WORK We are a donation-based service to the community [where people can afford it]. Due to the demand for counselling, we might at times have a waiting list. INTERNSHIPS Internship applications open 1 October and close 1 December. Grace Cov is excited to offer opportunities to serve as Interns! Our Internship program is designed for focused service, with contributions in specific roles in operations and ministry in line with your gifting and ability. Develop key skills which will benefit you in future ministry, employment or your own business. Applicants must be students of a tertiary institution and meet the following requirements: - Be between 18 & 25 years old. - Be able to commit to a regular weekly slot at Grace Cov Church office. - Attend all corporate meetings of Grace Cov Church, i.e. Sunday Church meetings, prayer meetings and the like. - Agree with the vision and values of Grace Cov Church. Grace Cov Church commits to: - Give full training and support for any tasks assigned. - Give a small monthly remuneration. - Work with the applicant’s schedule. - Give a certificate & recommendation after the internship is complete.
